Community Education and Outreach
Community Education
Health education and outreach serve as powerful and effective bridges into a community. The Vilas County Public Health Department accomplishes this by coordinating and disseminating information to the public through various programs and by partnering with other organizations.
In order to ensure that the department stays on track, a needs assesment is done periodically. From that research, the Community Health Initiative Plan is developed.
